The Enchanted April (that first morning)

Don't you love the way Mrs. Arbuthnot from the very first morning at the castle has a heart overflowing with gratitude, the cares of her everyday world replaced with overwhelming thankfulness?
with calm.
with peace.
with refreshment.

What a few of our members said:
"While I am away, I think I am most grateful for the opportunity to live in the moment. So much of my life is spent looking forward, constantly planning, and staying several steps ahead of the moment. When I have been able to get away, the blessing of living in the moment is what I enjoy the most, the thing for which I am most thankful. It feels like a cleansing breath." -E
"I am most grateful for being able to get away from so much responsibility at home. It helps to put it all into better perspective, and knowing the world won't end if it is not done immediately. When it is time to go home, I am ready and refreshed!" -C
"I appreciate the refreshing and calming peace I get when I go to the sea; the feelings just wash over me and I am at rest; I feel at one with nature and the rhythms of it and itโs something that is simply a visceral reaction to being there. I donโt cause it to happen- it happens TO me. I can feel some of the same feelings being outdoors in greenery but the sea has a special effect on me - I donโt know why; Iโm just glad that it does." -L
