What a great list! I was especially intrigued to see a title by Robert McKammon , “Speaks the Nightbird”; I read a post-apocalyptic novel by that author and although much of it read like King’s “The Stand” there was a wonderful twist that has stayed in my mind. I will definitely be adding this suggestion to my TBR list. I have read several of those titles listed and have enjoyed each one. I am reading one of the suggestions now (I Invited Her In) and downloading Roald Dahl’s collection too. As always, PL readers’ suggestions are a great resource for new reading material.
